Director – Giorgia Miccoli
Born in 1994, in Pescara, Giorgia has been living in Forlì for the past five years. There she graduated with a BA degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs and with a MA degree in International Politics and Security. She has been a Research Intern at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome and at the Centre for European Research (QMUL) in London. Her main research interest regard #Europeanhistory, #Europeansecurity, #EUexternalrelations and, more specifically, #transatlanticrelations.
Deputy Director – Fabio Seferi
Fabio holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Florence, Italy. He has been Programme Assistant Intern at the European Policy Centre, a Brussels-based think tank, and Ad-Hoc Research Assistant for The Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime. Fabio’s main research interests focus on #geopolitics, #democracy, #politicalviolence, #transnationalthreats and #organisedcrime, mainly referred to European peripheries and neighbourhood.

Head of Programme – Elisa Martinelli
Elisa holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Florence. During the University, she spent one semester studying at the University of Amsterdam. Previously, she has been Schuman trainee (DG External Policies) at the European Parliament in Brussels and intern at the Political office of the Italian Embassy in Moscow. Currently, she is attending a Master Course in Diplomatic Studies at SIOI, in Rome. Her research interests focus on #securitypolicies, #Europeansecurity, #RussiaEUrelations and #intelligence as a discipline.
Reseacher – Giulia Candian
Born in the Ligurian city of La Spezia in 1995, she has always been passionate about politics and journalism, she is a grad student in Political Sciences and International Relations at the University of Pisa. Her interests include the #MiddleEast, #Europeanintegration and #geopolitics.
Researcher – Angelica Vascotto
Coming from a frontier reality, she has always felt extremely engaged in understanding the inclinations of the international arena which contribute to conflicts and disorders. For these reasons, she decided to focus on foreign languages and international relations. Graduated in “Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies” at King’s College London, her research interests are #conflictresolution, #postconflictualmemories and #reconciliation. Currently, she is part of the PhD programme in Institutions and Policies at the Catholic University of Milan.

Flavia is a student in World Politics at MGIMO University, Moscow. She got her bachelor degree in International Relations at Florence University. Her topics of interest include #RussiaEuroperelations, #feministtheory, #frozenconflicts, good music.
Researcher – Soňa Hoigerová
Soňa is an MA candidate in International Relations and European Studies at the University of Florence. She is particularly interested in the issues concerning the #GlobalSouth, #Development and #Europeanpolicies.
Researcher – Tihana Tokić
Tihana is a MSc Candidate in Comparative Politics at University College London (UCL). She obtained her BA International Relations and European Studies at Lazarski University. Besides that, she is also an Institut Barcelona D’estudis Internacionals (IBEI) and Olympia Summer Academy’s alumna. Tihana’s main research interests are #Croatia, #ethnicconflict, #politicalviolence and #organisedcrime.
Head of Communications – Francesca De Sanctis
Born in 1992, always been passionate about politics and travels, she got her Master Degree in International Relations at La Sapienza of Rome. After being around between Poland, Hungary and Croatia she’s now a proud sponsor of the Erasmus generation. Her interests are focused on #EuropeanIntegration, #EUexternalrelations and #SustainableDevelopment.
